The only thing I can say about this product is: This product looks AMAZING!
Microsoft presented Surface. Surface is a table with a LCD screen of 30 inches as a surface, based on translucent polymer that allows the user to interact with the system in a simple and intuitive way. This screen provides a multitasking and multiuser (multiple clients can interact with it simultaneously) and multi-touch because the panel includes more than 52 sensitive parts, allowing a fairly high level of accuracy on interaction. Last days I installed and tested the last version of Windows operative system: Windows 7 Ultimate Beta 32-Bit version.

EyeOS is a “kind” of virtual operating system that runs inside a web browser and allows us to access a work desk.
It is true that the concept client-server is not new, but the concept of EyeOS is a bit different: EyeOS system is installed in a webserver, doesn’t matter if is under Windows, Mac, Linux… and can be accessed from any web browser, once again without any platform restriction. If all of this is not enough, also I must tell you that is completly FREE !

Intel has introduced new chips that will join the current Atom range and are oriented to mobile internet devices and PC. Two new chips that cover the demand for more power with 2 GHz processor and another one with a maximum frequency of 1.2 GHz. Linux with ATI card+Compiz without any problem!
The latest version of ATI Catalyst drivers for Linux (Catalyst 9.3), comes as the latest version for the cards between the R300 and R500. Until now, Linux users with ATI cards using Compiz had problems with the video playback, because was not compatible, at least in Xv accelerated format, being only able to play video with a lot of pixelization. With Catalyst 9.3 the problem is finally resolved.
