Snow Leopard

Apple today announced the details of itsĀ Mac OS X Snow Leopard Up-to-Date Program, which allows U.S. customers who purchased or will purchase a qualifying Mac after June 8th, 2009 with OS X Leopard installed to upgrade to OS X Snow Leopard upon its September release for a shipping and handling fee of $9.95 plus tax. Similar programs are available in a number of other countries. While Apple announced general information related to the program in itsĀ initial press releasecovering Snow Leopard’s launch, today’s update provides full details for customers looking to upgrade.

iPhone will run Symbian OS v5

Today had been confirmed that incoming iPhone will be 100% compatible with Symbian S60 v5.

It seems Apple had been thinking seriously about this, and they decided that is difficult to fight against an ultra introduced phone OS like Symbian. Next incoming iPhone will have a dedicated rom with Symbian code to allow the user to install 99% of incoming software designed for the new Symbian S60 v5 plattform (like the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music), but the users will be able also to install iPhone dedicated apps.

Two new chips that cover the demand for more power with 2 GHz processor and another one with a maximum frequency of 1.2 GHz. Skype for iPhoneSkype announces officialy their software version for the Apple iPhone.

Months after sharing its intentions over different difussion methods, to launch an iPhone-only version of Skype… Skype for iPhone is officially here! The free, native VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) client for iPhone and iPod Touch is today available in Apple’s iTunes store.

It is a super notice for users of iphone and iPod touch, being able to use their integrated wi-fi or cell-wan to realize calls thru Skype, a service that Symbian users with Wi-Fi capable phones are able to use since long time ago.
